Welcome to my internet haven! I’m Madison Amara, a home cook, recipe developer, and comfort food lover. I grew up in the cozy Philadelphia suburbs; however, my parents are from Virginia and North Carolina. So, if you know anything about the south, then you know comforting cuisine and hospitality are two of the biggest staples. From an early age, I was introduced to bold, flavorful dishes and comforting, soul-soothing desserts. Growing up, I was heavily influenced by my parents’ and southern grandmothers’ cooking. Each dish they cooked was delicious and made with love and care. My love for their belly-warming southern dishes inspired me to begin creating and sharing my own comfort food recipes.
